Based in Denver, Colorado, Security Pursuit provides computer security services to help organizations protect their business-critical information systems. Services include network security, website security, penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, application security reviews, data breach incident response, social engineering prevention, security awareness training, IT controls reviews and gap assessments, employee termination assistance, and other information security advisory functions. We help secure the networks and websites of private businesses, banks and credit unions, airports, and state and local governments nationally.

Steve Fox – Chief Executive Officer of Security Pursuit, Steve leads the penetration testing and security assessment practice. He has delivered hundreds of security assessments in support of a variety of different compliance mandates including PCI, GLBA, NCUA, HIPAA, and FISMA. Steve's educational background includes a Masters Degree from George Washington University, a Bachelors Degree from University of Missouri, a Certificate in Computer Programming from Montgomery College, along with the CISSP, GPEN, GCFA, GSLC, CASP, and Security+ industry certifications. Steve is a member of the FBI InfraGard organization; a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and private sector individuals responsible for securing our nation's infrastructure. Steve has been interviewed by national media publications and has presented research at security conferences on a variety of topics ranging from botnets in the enterprise to malware on mobile devices. |

Jeff Ahlerich – Chief Information Security Officer of Security Pursuit, is a versatile information security technologist with over 12 years of industry experience and leadership role expertise in the areas of security solutions development, operations, and consulting services. He possesses a strong enthusiasm for information security advocacy, a talent for enterprise risk & security assessment, and excels at facilitating practical technology solutions to meet compliance driven and/or security best practice objectives. He has individually performed and/or managed over 200 individual security assessments for banking, financial services, insurance, retail, healthcare, energy, higher education, local, state and federal government clientele. Jeff has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology with a Computer Science concentration from Florida State University, is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a SANS GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN), and a member of the FBI InfraGard organization.

Robert Kelso – Chief Technology Officer of Security Pursuit, has over 20 years experience in computer forensics, engineering and software technology. A graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, Robert holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in aerospace engineering and astrodynamics, respectively. Robert has testified in both District and Federal court as an expert witness in computer forensics and has been appointed a “special master” by the court on multiple occasions. Robert currently teaches a master's level course in computer forensics at the University of Denver. Robert has published numerous articles including “Moving to Secure The Image – Valuable Data May Be Overwritten Forever”, published in Law Week August 2007. |

Chris Schmidt – Chief Operating Officer of Security Pursuit, has a decade of experience in computer forensics and programming. From the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and the University of Denver College of Engineering, Chris is a certified EnCE and CHFI computer forensics investigator and holds advanced certificates in web development and is NACSE certified in several engineering technologies. He is also a regular guest instructor at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville on electronic discovery and computer forensics and is a guest instructor for Regis University, and a member of the Westwood College Program Advisory Committee for their degree program. Chris published an article on forensics in divorce cases entitled "Seeking What Your Spouse Hides", published in Fresh Magazine July 2008.

As client relations manager Melinda promotes Security Pursuit’s local and national exposure and maintains current client relationships.
